Chapel of the Good Shepherd is an autonomous, interdenominational and evangelistic assembly, established to meet the spiritual and moral needs of the university co an serving as a training ground for future servants of God.

CGS aims at evangelizing and discipling students in their prime age and meaningfully engaging the members of the university community and its environs with the word of God. Through the help of the Holy Spirit our mode of worship has been consistent with the basic doctrines of the apostles.

A congregational form of Church administration has been adopted because of our pluralistic membership (members are drawn from various denominations).

The chapel is available and stands in partnership with the University Administration to cater for the spiritual needs of the University community.

Membership is open to all who uphold and affirm the doctrinal basis of the chapel and who have completed the Chapel Membership registration form. While members of the Chapel are expected to be faithful to her, the Chapel encourages members to be worthy and active participants in their home denominations.

That all be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:2-3

To bring the members of the University community to know Jesus Christ personally as Lord and Saviour, to grow to become like Him in faith, love, unity and purity for effective kingdom service.
